Ginero Fabrice

Ginero Fabrice is a Belgian artist, of Spanish origin, born on the 12th of May 1970 in Brussels.

Self-taught man, Ginero got noticed by his various collages on canvas. Later, he devoted himself to oil painting as well as acrylic paint made from clay in order to direct his work towards a more abstract style.

It was only a few years later that he discovered digigraphie (numeric collages and a mix of technics) and eventually took the decision to create his artistic universe around this technic.

His optimistic and dynamic character gave him a natural joy of living that can be felt in every single one of his creations. Ginero offers us a journey along the edges of our childhood memories.

The original support for all his creations is made of diasec and on aluminum covered by a layer of see-through resin coming from garages.

This technic brings out the colors as well as gives them more depth and a shiny finish.

Permanently exposing in Brussels for the last 15 years, Ginero’s creations have been seen in various art galleries, exhibitions and artist collectives.

Ginero expresses himself:

“I give a twist to the images in opposition to their original context by mixing many technics as collage, paint and digigraphie.

My special vision allows me to express myself as an artist and to give in an original way of life back to everything that surrounds us everyday.”

Within his creations we will find butterflies in a reconstructed city, playmobils bumping into each other on a crossroad, dolphins jumping straight out of the asphalt,…

A huge inspiration from the Pop art movement, Basquiat, Warhol and others are all a part of the universe that Ginero offers.
